The Work We Do
ROAR works across Roatán to identify, treat, and support animals in need—focusing on cases where we can make the greatest impact.
ROAR operates as a foster-based rescue network.
We don’t have a shelter. Instead, we work directly in the community—coordinating care, supporting animals through recovery, and relying on fosters, volunteers, and local partnerships to make each case possible.
How It Comes Together
There’s no single path—but there is a system.
A need is identified.
The situation is assessed.
Care is coordinated.
Support makes the outcome possible.
ROAR exists within that system—helping connect the pieces so animals have a chance.
